I bought these glasses for working in chemistry labs. I hoped they would match my oversized glasses; so i wouldn't have to change my old smaller glasses or stick one of the small glasses under the big one. They fit my rather large glasses. Luckily, the glare shown in this image is greatly exaggerated. Usually they are transparent. My glasses are 5 7/8 inches from hinge to hinge and fit perfectly. I had to return two glasses from OTHER BRANDS because my prescription glasses were too wide for them. It's difficult to measure the interior because the glasses are curved, but I find there is enough room for 6 1/4" (hinge-to-hinge) prescription glasses.
