Easy installation but look here if you need to customize your buttons

As expected this case/piss cap is pretty cool for the amount paid. I wish it came with a joystick or other triggers, but other than that it works as advertised. I will say that if you buy this item you should be prepared to do some research as no instructions are included. Luckily, I'm a techie and a Google wizard. I managed to figure out how to set up the GPIO buttons on the Pi-Hat. For your Raspberry Pi 3 you need to edit this file called recalbox.conf which is on your SD card. Then find the…

Your friends will think you're cool!

Cons: It's quite large and clunky. The batteries seem to be dead for weeks even when turned off. The buttons are a bit awkward. Pros: Easy to assemble and works like a dream. It can work more than 4 hours with a good set of batteries. The screen is super clear and the colors are vibrant! The classic design makes it a natural addition to almost any game!

Pros
  • High ratings for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Short instructions

How do I connect buttons?

Love this item very much. I just can't figure out how to allow games to be played outside of the USB remote. It didn't register when I first turned it on and it asked me to press a. It doesn't read regular Gameboy buttons, only USB remotes. Can somebody help me with it?

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Lightweight single board computers

If you want my retro model to be portable this will help. I'm a tall guy 6ft 3in and 270 so I have no problem using it, lots of complaints about the size but I have no problem reliving my childhood.

Pros
  • Trial for one year
Cons
  • There are bugs

A solid, easily portable retro slot machine.

This is much better than the first version. Very durable and just as easy to set up. I think I could give him a 5 if he had an analog d-pad stick. The cross brace is also a bit stiff. The screen is nice and clear. The sound is loud and requires two 18650 batteries. Much longer battery life than the previous gaming helmet that only used one button. The keys click a little. I like it. The SD card is easily accessible and can be replaced if necessary. The volume and backlight buttons are easily…

Great design and easy assembly

Solid and well made case. Circuit boards inside the case make connecting devices very easy. An absolute beginner could assemble it easily. I found the case to be a bit large and "square" but it all fit the 4.3 inch screen. The screen is larger than most portable devices, and the resolution is nice and smooth. I think the big screen is my favorite feature. The extra hotkey is handy and works well with RetroPie. I think the price is a little high for your casual gamer, but if you are a creator…

Figured out how to get the keys to work.

: I was able to get some of the built in functions to work. The easiest solution is to find the manufacturer's wiki and follow the instructions there to download and install one of their preconfigured operating system images. 1) I missed the (obvious) note that this doesn't come with batteries. Bummer.2) No instructions - have to go back here to look at the graphs. It's okay - I actually like it. 3) Easy to assemble. 4) The killer thing though is that (like other people here seem to!) the built
