Ventilation Required: Outdoor Power Tools

Like - Holds 5 gallons of gasoline as advertised. Dislike - It takes forever to empty those 5 gallons of gas. Everything is fine with the button, but there is no ventilation and the gas takes forever. Your hand will get tired before the glass is empty. I can try drilling a hole and installing a screw or some kind of vent valve. I should have brought a jar with a regular lid and vent but I was trying to save a buck.

Well it didn't work ๐Ÿ˜”

I wanted to love this product but now I'm stuck with a leaking useless gas can. It's very cumbersome to use and the button design is a joke. I definitely don't have the dexterity or finger strength to hold that nasty button for 10 minutes or more. and i think you too Unfortunately the only way I can find out is by using it and now I've wasted money on a poorly executed great idea. Stick to the 2 gallons they give you at the gas station because you can really count on that.

Pros
  • Lasting test results
Cons
  • Some errors

It needs 3 hands to work. Bad design.

I have just received a gas cartridge and am very disappointed with the design. The first problem is that there is a button that you have to slide forward and press to allow the stream. I can't press hard enough for this to work, even with two hands. I have no idea how to go about doing this by picking up a full can of 40#. Second, there is no air intake so it takes forever to fill! For an additional $23 I can order a $9.99 kit to build an air intake valve and a $14.99 kit to attach a standardโ€ฆ

  • Durable finish
Cons
  • Unbelievable price

Another unsuccessful attempt at a usable gas cartridge

Another unsuccessful attempt at a usable gas cartridge. Conceptually, the button was a great idea, but then MFR placed an almost impossible locking switch on top of the button. This is already a button, you don't need another stupid button on top of the first button. This makes it necessary to have three hands to use the mute element. I will not do this. It's not breathable, so plan on letting the 40# gas canister hang for ten minutes while this thing slowly digs up its contents. For those ofโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Great for me
Cons
  • Only available in black

it's almost impossible to use according to the design

The gas cylinder itself is made out of relatively good materials, very similar to those I bought at my local brick and mortar store a few weeks ago. Is the problem in the design? not a single person has tried to use it after they started! I say this for the sake of discovering or trying to discover. on the back of the spout where it screws onto the glass. the part that you have to remove each time to fill it like any other. There is a plastic latch that catches these grooves on the side of theโ€ฆ

  • This is amazing

Terrible product - request a refund

I was looking for a way to contact the seller but couldn't find a way. Here is my review of this product. I want the seller to contact me. On October 13th, 2020 I bought a Garage Boss GB351 5 gallon gas tank. I've since found it almost impossible to use. I want to return it for a full refund. the following reasons. 1) Flowing from the base of the nozzle. 2) The button that lets too much gas flow sticks so hard that sometimes it takes both hands to press it. Basically, it takes 3 hands toโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Very good value for money
Cons
  • Does not fit all

Sometimes we go too far with safety measures

Yes I actually deducted 1 star out of 2 I gave this junk product when it was new. Save yourself the heartache and DO NOT buy this unnecessary product. Since today I flooded the mower from an almost empty canister (this one here), the button stuck, the flow could not be stopped, because in his hands hung a canister without a handle, and gasoline flowed everywhere! When I come home from the gas station with a full can, I find that this thing has the stability of a large rubber ball rolling fromโ€ฆ
