Was a great replacement part

Update 28th July 2020: There aren't many alternatives so I bought another to replace a broken switch. Installed yesterday, let's see how long it lasts. It worked great at first. Original Rating: Worked great to keep the old lamp going.

Works great in Industrial Electrical

Arrived soon. Fits. The standard switches had a shorter plunger (don't know what to call it) made of black plastic and they look like chrome. never mind Apparently there are ceiling light switches in two different diameters. This is the smaller diameter I needed. Installation was easy. The OEM had 1 wire with a nut, the other was some sort of compression terminal block (don't know what to call it). Finally, in our 1970's range hood, the light switch above the hob exploded (shattered, actually). However, once installed, the new switch tended to stick or toggle like it was tethered. When it got stuck in the bottom of the plaid after about a week of use, I sprayed it with DeOxit contact cleaner and it's been working great ever since.
