I bought a GPSMAP60CSX bike mount about a year ago and have used it many times. Most of the use has been on roads or fairly slick trails. I have mountain biked twice with this mount. I managed to snap the top of the mount (the hole where the round button on the back of the GPS goes) when I hit the device with my knee. I bought a GARMIN 010-10454-00 GPSmap 60 Series bike mount from Revain. The bike carrier consists of two parts. Both are made of plastic. One piece snaps onto the bike handlebars and has a metal screw to attach to the handlebars. The second item is a plastic cage that snaps onto the back of my GPSmap 60CSx.
