Exact factory replacement for Garmin 541S

Exact factory replacement for Garmin 541S. I bought this to replace a mysterious no power situation that I suddenly encountered with my device. I've read here and elsewhere that others had a similar problem and that replacing the power/data cable was the solution. That was definitely a problem for me. It was an exact factory replacement that was easy to replace and now everything works great. My Garmin 541S is a chartplotter and recorder so I was a bit wary when buying a cable as the product ad

It was a great price for a replacement part

My old Garmin power cord was so rusted it wouldn't connect. It was a great price for a part. It installed perfectly and we were back to work. Arrived on time and was exactly as described.

Pros
  • Power Cord
Cons
  • So far so good

Solved my problem with lack of energy!

My GPSMAP 421S was not turned on this season. The multimeter indicated that 12 V is required at the plug. Garmin offered to try a new cable before replacing the device for $170. Some of the reviews here pointed out a similar problem with no power, which the cable solved. I bought this Garmin cable and the device is working again! It's likely that corrosion in the salt water caused the cable to break somewhere. I've always used a small shoe, but I'm sure the salt can still get on the contacts at
