It is required for marine GPS navigators. Accessory

One of the cables used to attach Yamaha sensors to the chart plotter screen. 2 cables are required or they can be used with a Lowrance Nema 2K cable but at around the same price and gauges shown.

  • Ideal for me
Cons
  • No instructions

Plug and play bug

Do not buy this item as it will no longer fit the terminal on the NMEA 2000 connector on a Yamaha engine. As other reviewers have said, it's the same connector and you can't connect the same ends together. I don't know how it happened, but it's absurd. Buy Lowrance to make more money because all NMEA 2000 devices work the same no matter who makes them.

Pros
  • Very good value
Cons
  • Excessive price

You can use this if you also order Yamaha braids. However, the connector that connects to the NMEA2000 bus is ALSO the wrong gender connector. This connector should be the same as the male NMEA2000 drop cable, but it is a female connector! Interesting how the
