Garmin GMR Fantom 18 Radar Review

This radar helps me navigate my boat with ease, providing clear and accurate imaging for safer travels. As my tests showed, it detects even small objects in real-time .The installation WAS simple and the user interface is intuitive. However, it could be a bit pricey for some buyers. Overall, I highly recommend this radar for any boat enthusiast who wants to upgrade their marine electronics..

This product works great, initially had some trouble communicating with the Garmin 740xs we have. We connected the radar but the GPS did not receive a signal from the radar. . We recommend future buyers that if you buy this unit, plug everything in and run a software or firmware update, whatever it's called, so you don't have the problems we had when we thought it would wouldn't work. (I would give 5 stars but we had to work twice)
