Great device at a great price!

So far so good. I removed a star for step tracking as swinging your arms can earn you steps. Still, it's a good motivator. I like big letters/numbers and it's easier to keep track of time than looking at my iPhone, especially in the middle of the night with the backlight on. Tip for the awesome new backlight feature: you need to hold the button for about 2 seconds to see it. The letters/numbers will be brighter, but you must test in low light as you won't notice the difference in bright light…

Vivofit2 = excellent; Garmin CS is terrible.

First, the Vivofit2 itself gets 4.5 stars. My refurbished unit looks brand new and is working great so far. Great way to save money! Garmin customer service gets zero stars. I emailed them when I was initially having trouble creating an account (without the group being just a pedometer) and they completely ignored me, but they had the nerve to send out a survey in which they were asked to rate their customer service! Fantastically easy to use fitness tracker makes me more active in the office.

I work at a desk and bought one of these to stay more active during the day. I reviewed the original VivoFit; Although I wanted the VivoFit 2, it was a bit out of my price range. I saw these refurbished models at a cheaper price and bought one. The device I received is an officially refurbished Garmin device and has all the functionality of a new device. I don't know what needed to be fixed on my device; it looked brand new. No wear or damage. It was easy to set up. I already had Garmin Connect
