Description of πŸ‹ Gaspari Nutrition Glycofuse: The Ultimate Rapid Performance, Recovery Carbohydrate - Lemon Ice Flavor

Recognizing the need to provide athletes with a high-performance carbohydrate-based supplement, in 2012 Gaspari Nutrition introduced Glycofuse using Highly Branched Cyclic Dextrin (HBCD) as its main ingredient. Unlike other simple carbs, Cluster Dextrin is low glycemic and does not cause a rapid rise in blood glucose levels while providing sustained energy over prolonged aerobic and anaerobic physical activities. Providing rapid gastric emptying and avoiding bloating common to many carbohydrate-based supplements, makes this novel compound ideal for all types of exercises that require a clean source of carbs for energy and endurance. Fortified with Albion chelated minerals, making it the gold standard for high-performance carbohydrate-fuel supplements that can be used to increase endurance and improve performance in all types of physical activities and sports. 15g Cluster Dextrin (per serving). 10g CARB10 (per serving). Glycofuse can be used as a pre, intra or post workout supplement to boost athletic performance and improve hydration. Founded in 1998 by Rich Gaspari. Rich has been involved in the bodybuilding and fitness field for more than 30 years. He excelled as a top professional bodybuilder from the mid 80’s through the 90’s.

Great but made me nauseous on the last batch

This carb containing drink has been my favorite on the RP diet for years as I took a unflavored dip at a rate of 1 can every 3 months. Fast Carbs were perfect for me as I don't like to train on an empty stomach in the morning. It clumped up a bit in cold water, making it difficult to mix, which can be frustrating. Being unflavoured, it blended well with protein and something like Amino Energy for a little tropical smoothie. However, the last batch caused me severe discomfort (stomach ache…

Game Modifications.: Pre-Workout

I'm a Great Sweater. When I train for a long time in the sweltering heat, I look like I jumped in the pool in all my clothes. I was hospitalized several times because of this. I had to learn how to overhydrate with Pedialyte, ORS, Brine Juice, Gatorade, etc. I had to come up with a system that is pre-hydration, intra-workout hydration, and post-workout recovery. I've learned that it's not just water and electrolytes, it's also fuel. When you run out of fuel and water, bad things happen. I tried

Pros
  • Great for Me
Cons
  • No Instructions

I have recently started taking a medication prescribed by my doctor but unfortunately the medication has a strong side effect as I am not eating the normal amount of food. Actually, I hardly eat anything. I found that on a typical day when I went to work out I only had enough energy/fuel to work out for about 10 minutes. I weigh 210 pounds at 5'11 with 13% body fat and have been active in a variety of sports since I was 3 years old. However, I usually had to train much longer, right? Not right!
