Efficient Ethernet expansion

This splitter is fantastic for expanding my network connections without having to sacrifice on speed or reliability .It`s been a lifesaver for my home office set up allowing me to connect multiple computers without any hiccups. The build quality is solid and I can tell this will last me for a long time. The only downside is the price point, but you get what you pay for in terms of quality. Overall, I would highly recommend this product to anyone in need of a reliable Ethernet expansion…

Pros
  • Allows for splitting of 12V power and Ethernet signals
Cons
  • Requires a 12V power source, limiting flexibility in installation options

Optimizing cable quantity

Haven't deployed this yet, but I'm sure I have a suitable cylindrical coaxial DC-DC adapter put together a patch cord someday, this PoE splitter will do exactly what it was designed to do. That means powering my new ROKU ULTRA 4800R through a PoE switch while the same device is connected to a wired Ethernet connection (preferably Wi-Fi for reliability/stability), eliminating the need to be near an AC power source to be located. Once connected I will post an additional review.

Pros
  • Requires IEEE 802.3at PoE switch or injector (sold separately)
Cons
  • Newer model could have been chosen
