Great product won't buy anything else

Great belt bought for my outlander as a replacement but a loner mate blew his belt on a trail over a year old and the belt still works strong won't buy any other brand of belt , because he thinks so highly of his individualism

Pros
  • Great overall performance
Cons
  • old

For standard size tires

I smoked this belt in about 2 hours on a 2015 Can-am Maverick after fitting 30" tires. After going back to stock tires, this belt will hold up great. Looks like I should probably go with a 30R3750 Gates Redline belt and upgrade the clutch before going back to 30" tires.

Pros
  • Decent performance
Cons
  • Reliability

Excellent Belt - Parts

Excellent Belt! A little nervous about the bad reviews. Well I'm here to tell you that if you break it right, it will hold! I have an inline Outlander with a 975 engine over 100hp. on wheels and this belt has been running for over a year and still looks perfect. Couldn't be happier with it.

Pros
  • One Year Trial
Cons
  • Damaged

Less expensive alternative to "replacement " belt

I took this as a backup in case my regular belt failed. Looks solid enough, no visible flaws. If I ever need to use it my rating may need to be revised. All I really hope is that if need be I will return home. The cost was 56% of the Can Am replacement belt.

Pros
  • Comfortable to use
Cons
  • Has imperfections

May not be a suitable replacement for Can-am.

This belt is well made and durable, but the design is different from the original belt. This "can" result in scoring on the clutch surface. I can't say for sure, but I believe that was the case when I used this belt on my 2019 Renegade 850. I have since put my original strap back on and am using it as a spare.

Pros
  • Heavy Duty
Cons
  • Long Delivery Time

This is a guitar strap. Domestic Use Only

The belt would be a great replacement due to its low cost or for very light rides that would be completely shredded within 100 miles on a Can Am Commander 1000. They offer a guarantee, but you have to print and fill out a form and submit a $15 shipping fee. And yes, I also wrecked it per Can Ams recommendations, which according to my manual meant 30 miles of easy cruising without maintaining the same RPMs.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Empty

doses't last best in parts

This is the second Gates belt I have fitted to my car. I have been riding for over 25 years and have changed many belts but this belt will not last more than 2 years or 100 miles. I thought I had a bad belt, but when it happened to both belts and my friend's Gates belt didn't last long either, I can only conclude that this belt isn't worth the time and effort to install. Next there will be an OEM

Pros
  • Consistent test results
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Great Belt Best in Motorcycles and Power Sports

I ordered this for a Can Am Maverick Maxx DS 1000R. It seems to be working very well. I've used two OEM Can-Am belts, with the second not lasting more than a couple of hours. So far this belt seems to run cool with the Razorback belt temperature sensor and seems to run quieter with minimal slippage. It only seemed tighter from the moment I installed it. Looks like Can Am's second strap flexed too much. I have used them successfully on my Kawasaki Teryx before. I hope this is the best solutionโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of Style
