The Gates thermostat was a great choice for my car's engine cooling system. Based on our own experience, we found that the product is very reliable and has kept our car running smoothly. However, the price may be slightly higher than other options on the market.

This is a quality part from Gates. Note, however, that you will need to purchase the O-ring for the thermostat housing separately. It hasn't disappeared. It just doesn't come with a Gates thermostat.

Despite the application specs, this 192F thermostat caused my truck to run hotter than usual. A 185*F thermostat for the V10 has been suggested on the Ford forums. Removed 192 for 180 and the truck is back to normal. (I have an Ultra gauge on my truck that shows digital coolant temp).
