Save time and replace the fan clutch with a water pump. Search You Tube for time-saving tips if you've never attempted to repair a V8 Envoy and Trailblazer before.

kept the terma housing and the original pulley. new bolts used on thermostat housing (same nut size). Check the specs, 11lbs then 22.5lbs on 6 bolts if I remember. It's a simple task, just take your time. Replaced the thermostat and both belts at the same time. Great product after 500 miles, thanks Gates!

This water pump literally had a microcrack in the casting. I installed the pump twice and couldn't figure out why it was leaking. When professionally installed it was still leaking and then they noticed a tiny crack on the back of the case. Not only did this cost me hundreds of dollars and spend days trying to figure it out, but it also resulted in me not being able to get into my race and losing hundreds of dollars more in entry fees.
