I ordered this belt in my normal size and it barely buckled to the first hole. That could have been fine, but it made the pattern off-center. Came back and ordered a size up. Ideal! The only slight disappointment I have left is that the blue is much darker than the picture or the first one I received. It's almost black! But nice belt!

The leather is exactly the same as in 70's jeans - thick, uniform, one piece, no seams, just a big thick piece of leather that should last forever Thick enough Don't expect any deformation on the rear belt loops. It's not as wide as the '70s belt (1 1/2 inches vs. 2 inches). Waxed thread decoration certainly appears to be very durable, but time will tell.
