Good buy for indoor cycling

I bought these for indoor cycling. The boots were very easy to put on and adjust. I wear a size 8-8.5 and the size 40 fits a little more room than I would like in a normal shoe but perfect for cycling. They are very comfortable. Have used them a few times since purchase, the top buckle can be a bit finicky but works well and is good for support. They can be a bit tricky to get on the bike, but it may take a bit more practice and cleat adjustment. I love them and the quality was great for the…

Not as wide as rumored

I have Bought the shoe because the description said it was "designed for comfort" and I read reviews that said the shoe was "wide" like running shoes. Unfortunately, these shoes are the same width as my Sidi cycling shoes. I have wide feet and I can't find the right cycling shoes. You don't have to use a ratchet to tighten these shoes, so don't be intimidated by all the reviews saying their buckles broke. If you don't have very wide feet these shoes are a great deal (much cheaper than Sidi).

Pros
  • Compatibility with: 2 or 3 bolts including Look Delta cleats (Peloton compatible), Look Keo cleats, SPD, SPD-R and SPD-SL cleats (cleats and pedals sold separately)
Cons
  • Negative impression

Price and good fit for shoes

I am a cycling instructor and I do at least 5 sessions a week so I thought it was time to buy the right shoes. After looking around, the prices can be very high. I saw the Gavin Elite cycling shoe and the price was right on my budget. They were delivered as advertised but I had to wait for the spikes but they were not compatible with my bike. I called Gavin who sent me the link and I was able to purchase the ones I needed. Now I'm in love with my cycling shoes and if my students ask me for…

Great shoe but broke strap - problem solved quickly

We bought two pairs of Gavin Elite road boots (38 and 43) to use with our Peloton. These are very comfortable shoes that fit true to size. The adjustable strap (with ratchet) is a little fiddly to use, but does a good job of tightening the adjustment around the ankle. However, with just over a week of daily use, the bracelet broke when it was released with a snap, the plastic strap literally snapped in a straight line. We contacted the seller through Revain - as we learned from reviews that…
