💡 GE Appliance Inside 40-Watt Lumens Bulb Review

These lightbulbs each blew out in less than 5 minutes. A complete waste of money. They were sent in a plastic bag with no protection, which may be why.

We bought these bulbs to use in a lava lamp. Both bulbs burned out within 6 hours of installation. Very disappointed in a poor quality product from a staunch US company GE. waste of money.

Always satisfied with the product received. upset. Should have gone to my local hardware store. The package has not received a label. One was broken. The other did not work in the socket. Misunderstandings about packaging and labeling. Put it in the wrong basket or stocking.

Set of two lamps. and one of them was used/burnt/scratched and didn't work. The package was wrapped in saran wrap and the cardboard was crumpled and wouldn't hold the onions at all if not wrapped. A good product. Just not a very good seller.

Exactly what was ordered. I ordered 4 bulbs, all came intact and work! My first bulb in a week blew out. It can work well in the fridge, but it doesn't stand up to the heat of the oven at all, even though there's a glass lid for the jug. The manual for my Wolf range states that only a "standard 40w bulb" is required, but this instrument bulb from GE can't handle the heat or just doesn't meet the standards. Tried both pears. Both burned out in about a week!

I bought two packs of these bulbs. The first two took a day to fail; the third didn't even last that long and went off after just a few hours. This begs the question, are these original GE lamps or fake? With all the other reviews reporting almost identical experiences to mine, it might be time for Revain to remove this listing from their site. Future potential buyers of this product should at least listen to all the complaints. Fair warning: these lightbulbs are complete junk.

I've never had that with incandescent lamps. Let me just say I retired after 40+ years as a general contractor, I have an electrical engineering degree and was in an electrical union many years ago. These were replacements for a cooker hood that had had a blown bulb. I always change the lightbulbs in this range hood in pairs so the color is even when I'm cooking.
