I received what appears to be a very old version of the product - arrived in yellowed packaging with obvious corrosion on the underside of the bulb. Didn't work when connected.

Bought for a lava lamp. The label said to replace it with a 40w A15 bulb which matched the product description. Installed with a paper towel (no skin contact), the bulb will burn out within 24 hours.
