Frustrated with lightbulbs

It didn't seem to make my skin tone as saturated as in another house that used pink lightbulbs. I mean, it just didn't have the same "wealth effect". But hey, it's a lightbulb. I think something similar already exists with LEDs.

Pros
  • One year trial
Cons
  • Wrinkles

Not pink. Misleading photo.

Not pink at all. I ordered this because I was looking for a subtle pink light for my massage room so the light would be dim and relaxing without blocking my view. It's like a regular 60W warm white light bulb! There isn't even a slight pink tinge to the bulb. Doesn't look like the front photo at all.

  • Confident

Fits in all my household lamps!

These are the only bulbs I put in my lamps around the house. They are not pink but rather soft and gentle lighting for my home, especially the bedroom lamps. I've been using them for many years now and they're a great little secret to good lighting for lamp use. Makes the light in the room pleasant, not glaring.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Doubtful

Good but not good for bulbs

I loved these bulbs a few years ago but it looks like GE lightened the pink on the outer case bringing back the soft pink I used to love so much , has been minimized. After a few hours of use, they're definitely softer than a white bulb, which is what I need at the end of the day. I'm giving it four stars for price and availability. Five would have been applicable had they retained the original pink formula.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Clean

Lightbulbs are still the best

I love pink Sylvania bulbs, but you can't buy them at hardware stores or online. The GE brand is just as good but doesn't have the "pink" shine of the Sylvania. However, I am happy with my purchase and will buy again. Aversion to mercury-filled fluorescent lamps and LEDs is a waste of money and electricity. If you read the label on halogen bulbs, they pose a risk of fire and injury. Incandescent bulbs are still the best value for money.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Periodicity

I found good advice!

I read in a deco magazine that soft pink bulbs add some warmth to a room without looking yellow like warm bulbs, so I ordered soft pink bulbs to replace the bulbs in 4 bulbs, all on dimmers . They have arrived, look as expected and the advice was justified! Couldn't be happier. The lighting in the rooms is softer and luckily they don't look pink so my husband can keep his manhood ;) Hope the photo helps. This was taken during the day so there is some natural daylight but as you can see it…

Believe me. It's NOT pink!

Anyone who says it's NOT pink is right! While I can see that they have a pink tint in certain lighting conditions, in normal light they look like dirty lightbulbs. I tried putting one in a lamp with a WHITE shade and NOT PINK. They just look a little dimmer, maybe 55 watts instead of 60. I have 60 watt bulbs that are covered in plastic so they don't break and their light is comparable to those 'pink' ones. I wasn't expecting pink. . I wouldn't like it. However, I was expecting at least the…

Fantastic Lightbulb - DON'T HAVE TO BE A BRIGHT PINK LIGHT

Beautiful onions! I think some people are looking for a light bulb that emits a PINK light and to be clear, that's not what the light is intended for. The seller should remove the word "party light" from the description, because that's not what these GE lamps are about. Have you ever been frustrated because your lights were too cold or too warm? This is the perfect solution. The light emitted is WARM but not yellow. It will add a cozy glow to your home without being overwhelmed by the amber…

Pros
  • DECORATIVE PINK LIGHTS: Use these pink lightbulbs for decoration or display purposes to illuminate a room with soft pink light.
Cons

Two sets of supposedly pink lightbulbs. Never looked pink or glowed

The 1st set of bulbs was written "pink" but they were white. Even the lightbulb was white and of course never turned pink. I sent a message and was told not to send them back and Revane would send another set. I was happy with the answer. New pack of 2 bulbs arrived. If you hold the bulb up to the light, you can see a very slight pink tinge. Just looking at the lightbulbs lying on the table, they were white. I turned on my light with the so-called pink bulb, and you know what, it was white too.

Pros
  • PINK LIGHTS FOR $7.23/YEAR: These pink bulbs cost $7.23/year for energy, based on 3 hours of use per day.
Cons
  • Long delivery time
