📞 Enhance Phone Connectivity with GE InstaJack(TM) Extension Unit (TL26596) Review

I was trying to add this to an existing instagram jack which works fine but not great. It won't work at all. I tried everything several times and nothing. Thank god Revane is back.

The instructions were simple and to the point, it just didn't work, tried many times, called, number 800 had no luck, I'm still looking for a worker

Unfortunately we could not get the system to work. Neither my husband nor I are very tech savvy so we called a friend who is. He didn't succeed either. Don't come back yet, because next time we'll try a real "phone guy".

I bought a TL26596 expansion unit (GE Instajack) to add to the base/expansion unit I bought (#86597). I could not connect the TL26596 to the base unit. I called the phone number on the box and found that this company (Audiovox) no longer supports the extension cord. So I called up Jasco products that support the current version of the GE Instajack, only to find that while the instructions say you can add an extension cord, you can't. TL26596 is not part of the Jasco product line.

We have already successfully used an Instajack kit to connect our satellite TV DVR to the phone line at the other end of our living room. Later we wanted to add an extra phone jack to the bedroom at the other end of the house. I bought a second receiver and installed it in the room.
