See my photo before ordering!

I was blown away by this product. Why would a manufacturer think it's a good idea to print "370 lumens" directly onto a clear glass bulb? I ordered these for my dining room chandelier and you can clearly see the words day and night when the lights are on. They are definitely only intended for use in the shade or behind frosted glass. strange.

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not as thick as other picks

Excellent quality and long life

These lamps are great! At 120 volts they seem to last forever. They're a little less bright at 120 volts, but if you can live with that, they're worth the cheap price. I'm smitten with them, especially since my candelabra is about 14 feet off the ground. That saves me the frequent exchange. They also work great with my outside light. This compares very favorably to buying similar lamps from Lowe's or Home Depot.

Pros
  • Excellent price
Cons
  • Vanish

Waste of money - lightbulbs

The packaging says a lifespan of one year. There were 16 lightbulbs and none of them lasted a year. I documented when they were installed and how I replaced each bulb. The lamps have lasted: three months, 10 days, four months and two days, three months and 20 days, one month and 17 days are in the chandelier in my living room and are usually only switched on in the evening hours. If you like to change lightbulbs often, these lightbulbs are for you. I would not buy these lamps back from General…

Each boxed for gift or storage

I was very impressed that although my purchase from UsedVeryGood was cheaper they arrived within two days from the seller and EACH BULB was packaged in an individual box which they padded good. . But even better, it looked beautiful attached to a gift that required this lightbulb. I didn't have to do my own job protecting him. I see that other viewers have taken photos and commented on the packaging of each bulb. Since there are 12 of these and they need to be safely stored until needed again…

Pros
  • Satisfied so far
Cons
  • Everything OK

Only about two-thirds of the bulbs worked.

Although they go perfectly with my dining room chandelier and our Christmas candles and are becoming increasingly difficult to find in stores, I regret ordering them online. " Out of the twelve, several broke right out of the box. I was kinda expecting this upon delivery and wasn't overly concerned as the price was still quite good. Of the good ones, a few more burned out almost immediately after changing them This has never happened with other lights, I suspect it could be caused by shipping…

A bit long for my device, but it turns out

The lamp I have uses these lamps, but the other lamps are slightly shorter. This actually makes it difficult to put the instrument cover back on. But it can be done. They're more yellow than white, but I still haven't seen any white bulb options in that style. One came broken, but that's inevitable when you buy something with delivery. A little upset that I'm short on one, but I'm also happy with what I got. Just make sure your bulbs are the right length if they fit in the cap.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • There are other interesting options.

Are 4 out of 12 40W decorative lamps defective?

I used them on stained glass lamps. The first one out of the box didn't work and this problem continued. I have tried them in various lamps that have been in use for several years without any problems. The first bulb showed no damage in bright light, but it just didn't work. Others have shown that they were damaged from the start. The ones that worked still work, but hey! 4 of 12 capsules? No big deal. They glow well when working, but make sure you really need a high flame size. For one of my…

Only about two-thirds of the bulbs worked.

Although they match my dining room chandelier and our Christmas candles in the windows and are becoming increasingly difficult to find in stores, I regret ordering them online. Ours came in a box marked 'Contractor's Grade'. Of the twelve, several were broken right out of the box. I was expecting this upon delivery and wasn't overly concerned as the price was still quite good. Of the good ones One, a few more burned out almost immediately, having never happened to me with other bulbs we've used
