💡 GE Lighting 33890: High-Performance Fluorescent Lighting Solution with Optimal Diameter Review

I only turned to this product because I needed it quickly and it was closed. Luckily I have a bug. Instead of the promised 5 years I got less than a month. But I must admit that I was compensated immediately and have been a very satisfied Revain customer so far.

I used another brand that didn't last long and tried a softer color that made the kitchen look dull. The other bulb also came on after a while, especially when the weather got damp. Back to proven, real and durable GE lamps. Will never switch again!

I regret having this lamp installed in my kitchen. Replacement bulbs are expensive. Also, it flashes slightly for a few seconds before fully igniting, making you wonder how long it will last. I will say that the lighting system is silent, which can be an issue with this type of lamp.

I purchased 2 on 27th February 2020 to replace direct compatible kitchen light bulbs. It has been claimed to have a 5.5 year lifespan with many more hours per day than I do. use it. 1 is out of service as of May 15, 2020. It's not really 3 months. My previous bulbs purchased from Home Depot easily lasted 5 years if not more. Very disappointing. Absolute scam at this price.

If, like me, you pay attention to the K-rating to ensure your light is always the same color, you might be disappointed . They are warmer than I expected. GE advertises them as 4100K, but I'd say they're in the 3000 range. I'd put them in the same boat as "fluorescent lights" which are a bit warmer. These are definitely not clean (blue) bulbs. The lamps work well, are easy to install and don't flicker which is why I give them 4 stars.

Ordered these to replace the kitchen lights. I made the mistake of assuming the cool white light is the same/similar to the soft white bulbs I replaced. It wasn't, those bulbs gave everything a sickly blue-green hue. I think it was my fault for not reading the full description. Also, "garage and basement" is written directly on the front of the package. I'm reconfiguring them but would recommend them for those who need brighter light in a large work area. Arrived on time and very well packaged.

Fluorescent Lights are no longer made in the USA and I may be wrong but I feel like the basic standards for General Electric lights are very low and no longer apply. This lamp died within six months of its initial installation, which is usually good for an incandescent lamp, but they are guaranteed for five years.
