ok#1, they are cute. How really charming and tiny, and the most beautiful soft color! #2 They seem pretty energy efficient since I've had them for a while and they're still great! #3 They're not super bright! This can be a plus for some and a minus for others. I wish they were a little lighter but the color is so cool I didn't change it!

Packaging/marketing photos led us to believe that the bulb body is cloudy but the body is very transparent. So while they offer excellent ambient lighting as advertised, they're bright enough to be very painful to look at directly (which happens to be more common than you'd think). Because our ceiling light is oriented a certain way, this has been a constant problem for us, but not for other customers. As far as I can tell, a great lamp.

I really like these bulbs because they glow most of the time in a table or floor lamp. Most of the light they emit is reflected toward the ceiling above the shadow, with weaker light falling below the shadow. You may be able to add a diffuser if that's a problem, but I haven't tried it. I use them in a pair of console table lamps in our entryway and they cast dramatic shadows off the railing onto the wall and I love it. I'm usually not a fan of LED bulbs.
