Description of GE Lighting 42142 Decorative Replacement

The Edison chandelier light bulb combines the retro look of antique straight filament incandescent bulbs with the benefits of LED light bulbs. Vintage Edison styled candelabra bulbs are dimmable and have a warm candlelight glow and golden-tinted glass. Use this LED bulb in indoor chandeliers, sconces, and fixtures where the light bulb is visible. Money and energy saving Vintage Edison LED light bulbs are a perfect replacement for 25-Watt light bulbs while using only 3 Watts. The chandelier light bulbs save $36 in energy cost vs. a 25-Watt incandescent decorative lightbulb over the bulb's life. Aesthetic design of GE Vintage LED candelabra dimmable light bulbs compliments your fixture and adds a warm & decorative touch even when the light bulb is off. GE Vintage LED candelabra bulbs are rated to last 13 years based on three hours per day of use. The Edison LED bulbs offer great quality, light, form and function.

Excellent color temperature and not too bright

I was looking for a suitable bulb for a 12 bulb chandelier. I've tried many different brands including Philips and others here at Revain but none of the bulbs fit. Most are too bright, some are too white, some are badly shaded. The color temperature on them 2200-2500K is ideal and very close to a conventional incandescent lamp. Most of the bulbs I tried on the 2700K were much whiter than regular bulbs. At 150 lumens they are not as bright as other lamps in this class which are harmful to the…

The perfect compromise between color and brightness!

I bought some lights for my "candlesticks" and here they are the winners! I liked the ability to flicker a candle for other lights, but they were all disgustingly red! This one is perfect! I believe the wattage is 3w which is interesting as my 5w flickering bulbs were higher wattage and less light! The Kelvin rating is 2000 but looks a little higher. I have 3000,000 bulbs in other lights and my previous flickering flame was 1800 so I adjusted it closer to 2300,000. I wanted warm candlelight…

Dance major with OCD Lighting Challenges.

I have a Masters in Dance and teaching experience at three major universities. I have OCD when it comes to stage lighting and lighting in my house. I have such an obsessive compulsive disorder when it comes to lighting that I once replaced LED bulbs with incandescent bulbs at an Airbnb I was filming at. Because life is too short. Lighting is important because it can subconsciously affect your mood and make things look attractive or very unattractive. As of today, I categorically reject LED…
