This is NOT a product review. Want .

This is NOT a product overview. I would like to inform you that this listing is incorrectly labeled as 48-PACK. A pack (two bulbs) costs $40. Please note when ordering.

You can buy better for the money

These bulbs are very yellow, much larger than some other brands on the market. If a strong yellow hue would attract fewer bugs I'd be fine, but that's not the case. I have six lamps in my garden and they are all Philips. Over time a few of them burned out and I replaced them with these GE bulbs. The number of errors in GE lamps was significantly higher than the number of errors in Philips lamps. Combined with a much brighter yellow, I brought these lamps back and chose Philips.

Excellent light and value

I ordered 2-2 packs (4 bulbs) of these bug lights because the 60 watt light was not enough to light up the front or back porch. What a huge difference! The light on the porch is now much brighter and safer for people at night. I bought a pack of 48 to keep on hand as I see handwriting on the wall as manufacturers (by law) stop making "old fashioned lightbulbs". No comparison to these and new energy-saving lamps, which were dim and almost useless. They are at least 3-4 times brighter. In fact…

Pros
  • tools and household products
Cons
  • dull packaging
