Crystal Clear GE Light Bulbs

These crystal clear bulbs look great in my new chandelier. I ordered a second set to have on hand so I can keep the same bulbs for a long time. Phil A

Pros
  • GE Chandelier Light Bulbs are ideal decorative light bulbs to match lamps or fixtures where the light bulb is visible.
Cons
  • Nothing

NOT FOR TOUCH LAMP….

The photo shows that these are GE touch lamps but they are not. They sent me normal GE candelabra lamps, the dimming function did not work on my touch lamp. I'll be back... very disappointed.

Pros
  • These candelabra lamps use 25 watts.
Cons
  • Not all will fit

Burns out after a few weeks of 24/7 use.

I use it in a pink Himalayan salt lamp (don't judge too harshly). I leave the lamp on 24/7 and it tends to burn out after a few weeks. I may be exceeding its expected lifespan or not using it as the manufacturer intended, but it still seems like there's probably a better lightbulb out there.

Pros
  • These bulbs are built to last, rated for 1.4 years with 3 hours of daily use.
Cons
  • Damaged

I thought the touch lamp had 3 brightness options but although the bulbs work they don't turn on when touched - not sure if it's a lamp or not but the lamp worked perfectly before I tried these lamps. I have not tried new bulbs, I have only sold the lamp.

Pros
  • Each chandelier bulb costs $3.01 per year when used 3 hours per day at $0.11 per kWh.
Cons
  • Big and bulky

The work is great. for incandescent lamps

I bought it for my small sensor lamp. They were a little bigger than an old lightbulb. but luckily the end was still the right size to use them and although they are bigger they fit perfectly under the lampshade and the performance is perfect too. So I'm glad they work and I won't have to buy more for a while.

Pros
  • Candle lamps emit warm white light.
Cons
  • Almost never
