Works GREAT, not the best app

When the light was on for a few minutes to adjust, it got very hot. I try to light the porch, not heat it. The app won't sync with the lightbulb on my Android phone, had to yank out my old iOS phone to set it up. The options weren't great. I'm throwing this lightbulb straight into the trash can.

WiFi connection failed, app keeps crashing

This is my second C product, I bought it because I had a "C" switch. The "C" switch and lightbulb are by far the worst Wi-Fi switch and lightbulb I've bought. I started with product "C" because neutral switches were missing. I'm going back to HUE. Slightly higher price but they work.

  • Control your smart lightbulbs from home. Get extra security and convenience at home by controlling Wi-Fi lights with the Cync Mobile App. Never walk into a dark house again or disturb your comfort in bed with these smart C by GE lights.

Response too slow when using the Alexa Smart LED Light Bulbs

If you plan on using these bulbs with Alexa, look elsewhere. Response is too slow. I tell Alexa to turn on the light. Writes "the device is not responding" and after 5 seconds the light comes on. Too much delay that other smart bulbs don't have. Even unnamed brands are more responsive. I have found that Kasa lamps are the most reliable and have an instant response time. I will be returning these C by GE (Cync) smart lightbulbs.
