I liked the features of this product; Surge protection, five 110-volt grounded outlets and two USB ports; a type A and a type 3. It was hooked up to a filter coffee maker and a 1800w induction cooker. It was working great until this happened. On the back, in barely legible small print, it says that it must be replaced if the power is cut off by an overvoltage. No reset button and tamper-proof screws hold everything together.

I needed an outlet that could fit both bulky plugs and three USB devices. It does, and it charges both iPads and smartphones well. The only problem I had was when I tried to plug it into the socket next to the light switch in my kitchen that controls the under cabinet lights, it was too wide for that purpose. This is a review of the four outlet/four USB model. We have many items that plug into an outlet in our family room and need more outlets. It's a lot cleaner than a power strip because it simply plugs into an existing outlet, giving us four outlets plus space for four USB devices. While it doesn't charge our Samsung phones as fast as the OEM fast charger, it's good enough and just takes a little longer to charge.
