💡 50w GE WB25X10026 Halogen Lamp Review

Highly overpriced bulbs for certain models. But if you need light, they have it. I tried a similar cheaper bulb available at the store, it literally exploded in my hand when I installed it. That's right, but very expensive.

This lamp is for GE Microwave JVM7195SF1SS but the contact pins don't quite fit and they are so weak that when trying to install they break at the slightest pressure. This happened with both spare bulbs I bought and tried to install. The original lamps are unmarked for comparison, but have thinner and certainly stronger contacts and can be pushed back in without any effort. Thanks to GE for leaving me stranded with a useless lightbulb in my microwave!

I bought 2 replacement bulbs for my GE and one of them broke trying to fit it. I was as careful as possible but they are difficult to install and will fall out if not fully seated. The originals were also difficult to remove and I was afraid that removing them would break them. At least one of the lights works, but for $15 a piece I would have expected better mounts for such fragile components.
