GE WD15X93 Water Inlet Dishwasher Review

Units from the mid 90's are by far the best in durability and serviceability. This product easily replaced my almost 30 year old intake valve which broke overnight.

My (very) old GE dishwasher has been ordered again. I'm glad I found this part. instead of changing the whole car. Although my dishwasher is very old, it still works well and I would keep it to myself. because it is made in the USA.

It turned out that the water level wasn't high enough (by adding water mid-cycle) so the water splashes couldn't reach the soap compartment sufficiently. This intake valve solved the problem. Needed a 120VAC solenoid for a Miele dishwasher and came across this. However, to wall mount this unit with the inlet on the side and the outlet down on the wall, you will need to remove the metal plate with the inlet threads and grind/cut the tab. I was hoping to be able to rotate the plate easily, but the four screws are arranged in a rectangle rather than a square making this impossible.
