Authentic GE WD28X265 Silverware Basket for Enhanced Dishwashing Performance Review

I have 2 GE dishwashers. This is exactly the same as the cutlery basket from my new dishwasher. But my old dishwasher needed a new cutlery basket because it was starting to break. Too bad it had a few extra features and just felt good. But this is the base model you get with new dishwashers and it works, and if my other dishwasher suggests it will last 10 years or more.

I saw another review that said they received their cart broken. I ordered anyway due to the high ratings and needed a new dish rack as my dishwasher didn't have one. It fits my GE perfectly and I would give it a 5 star rating in a heartbeat because it is exactly what I need. Although there is a HUGE tear on the thin handle. I'm not sure I want to go through the return issue. I can just try super glue. Spring.

I'm not sure if this is the same basket as the Hotpoint dishwasher we had in our townhouse when we moved in, but it works perfectly! It's the exact same part number, although it took a bit of digging to figure it out. Hotpoint is GE's FWIW line of budget instruments. So we had to buy this cutlery basket because the dishwasher in the house we rented didn't have a basket. Great fit! However, the description said it was a two-piece cutlery basket with a fold-out latch on the basket, perfect for storing small items. The second part didn't have it.
