GE WH41X10096 Authentic OEM 4.5 ft. Corrugated Drain Hose for GE Washer Review

The old one we used with the washing machine we bought lasted 4 years before leaking a little so we replaced it and the clip at the same time, no leaks. If you buy this with ge and need a plastic clip, install it on this pipe before installing it on your car and save your screws.

Tested for compatibility, it fits easily, just reused the old clip, did a test run to drain the machine and so far everything is fine. The next project is to replace the water supply hoses with metal hoses and that should give me more peace of mind.

Outer washer fluid drain hose, GE WH41X10096, in photo is exactly what I needed and what I got. Like the hose I replaced, the new hose is made of flimsy plastic and vibrations between the hose and the concrete floor will quickly puncture it. Very easy to install. I could not find this item in any major store.

This hose was exactly the same as my original hose except for the length. I couldn't find what I needed in the big department stores. The only downsides were the length and lack of gear. The original hose was 6 feet but this one is 4. It works but it's long enough. As for the hardware, I was able to reuse the original. They wouldn't cost a lot of screws and a bracket.

The previous hose which is about 6 years old had a couple of small holes in the knurled part so a new one was needed. Bought a "universal" at a local hardware store, trimmed the end to fit the washing machine, then installed. Bad pressure. I ordered it in minutes and received it the next day. Genuine GE part fits my Moffat washing machine perfectly. GE makes Moffat. When installing this drain hose, be sure to clean the friction fit that the hose goes into to remove any grit or debris that may interfere with the seal. Be prepared for some water to drip out of the old hose when it is removed.
