Aborting mid-transfer

I bought this device to use with my camera's 32GB compact flash memory card. In the middle of each data transfer, the card turns off automatically and I have to remove and reinsert the CF card or USB cable to continue the data transfer. I tried it on 3 different Win 7 machines with the same issue. My average image size is 4-7MB each and the total number of files is approx. I upload around 300 images, each with an average size of 4-7MB. Don't waste your money.

Pros
  • Change price

I like! suitable for memory card accessories

It works for me and I would recommend it. I don't really like these types of gadgets, so advanced users might want something different. It does what it's supposed to and that's why I bought it.

Pros
  • suitable for many
Cons
  • for seniors

Required for micro SD cards.

My laptop doesn't have a setup for microSD cards and I need it for a Unix box so I can set up some cards for Raspberry Pi and it worked great.

Pros
  • Looks good
Cons
  • Some difficulties

but it's totally useless. I will return it and never will.

I bought this from Office Depot because I needed something urgently. It's completely dead. The power light doesn't even light up when I plug it into my Mac. It's supposed to be Mac or PC compatible, but it's completely useless. I will return him and never trust him with my cards.

Pros
  • Regular price
Cons
  • Not bad

Good product but case materials could be better.

This card reader works well and reads large memory cards. My only complaint about the case is that the plastic is very thin and the slots aren't clearly labeled as to which card goes where. Fuzzy labeling is not a problem for someone with a good knowledge of PC, but I wouldn't want to give this product to my father. My father couldn't decide where to put the memory card and had to ask for help.

Pros
  • Useful not only for its intended purpose
Cons
  • There are disadvantages
