I bought this for sun tanning to get a bit of vitamin D. 30 minutes in and this blanket made it much much hotter. My other blanket is cotton and keeps me much cooler. This blanket gets very hot and holds moisture. It's very light and a small Texas breeze will blow it away. I spent most of my time trying to keep it in place. Maybe on a cool not so windy day like late November this would be useful just to sit and read a book. Two stars for convenience and size.

Great size. I found it pretty easy to fold back into original packing condition. 4 teenagers and mom were able to hangout on it comfortably. Handles are so helpful.

**update! Beware when trying to wash! I put this in my machine and it comes out SOAKING WET. I don’t know how this thing is going to dry.The vibrant color is gorgeous and it’s easy to fold up. Could be a little thicker to maybe help it lay flatter. First use gave off a lot of lint. It’s big enough for two adults and an infant to play around!

Works great and is huge! Only complaint is that it sheds fuzz a little bit. I’d recommend washing before first use The blanket may not be as soft and comfortable as expected.

Great for outdoors and indoors. Waterproof side is great for kids to use as a mat for painting and other water related fun activities.

The material on top very soft and comfortable its a little bulkier than i thought but not a bug deal cant wait to use it at the park to see how it holds up .

This collected sand REALLY quick. It was also plush, an itchy plush, like a cheap blanket, which made it yucky to lay on at the beach. This might work for picnics on grass, but even then, the itchiness would bother me. At the end of our beach trip, I just threw it away in a dumpster. 0/10 for beach use.

I love the size of this blanket and love the vibrant colors! Unfortunately it's kind of tough to fold up and I really don't like that it folds with the fleece on the outside. EVERYTHING sticks to it. Maybe this would be a good beach blanket, but for our purposes (taking it places with leaves, sticks, pine needles, etc.) It 's not the greatest.

This is a cute outdoor blanket but don’t take it anywhere with mud or get it dirty because it’s impossible to clean. I assume this would be good for the beach or well manicured lawn. After one summer we’ve had to throw it away.

I bought this one for the beach. It folds up Ms lays out easily enough, I notice the sand gets stuck a bit easily on the softer side of the blanket…. Seems more conducive for a park blanket, but nevertheless serves its purpose. I just tend to wash this blanket a bit more

but i did not like because the color was super bright and it was made of fleece so that means tree leaves will get stuck and those are always hard to take off. i had to return. and costumer service was awesome .

I like the size of this product, also it is not heavy as I expected. The colors are bright, my kids are happy with this picnic blanket! But for the sandy beach I need to buy another blanket, this one is not appropriate for sand!

Got destroyed first time I washed it. Backing totally came off. Not sure what I am supposed to do with a picnic blanket I can’t wash.

This is a great, large blanket. with a waterproof backing for dewy lawns or clingy sand. We had four adults on it with room for food in the center. The face side is a soft microfleece that was comfortable to lay on. Additionally it looks to be easy to clean as we dropped some BBQ ribs on it and I was able to wipe clean with some baby wipes (this was done pretty soon after the spill). There are instructions on how to refold the blanket after use on a tag but hopefully you have good memory as…

We love this blanket! Seems to be great quality; it’s easy to fold (just pay attention to how you unfold it); and it’s big enough for all the kids (6yo, 2yo, 1yo), myself, and my fiancé. Would definitely recommend!

Great beach blanket! The back of the blanket is softer than a tarp but has a similar plastic feel it is really nice for the beach because water and sand doesn't stick as much as it does to a towel. The top of the blanket is very soft and enjoyable to sit/ lay on. This blanket is very large and has plenty of room for the whole family!

Beautiful blanket.and nice tote. Only problem was that it has a beige stripe that couldn't be seen in the Best Buy photo (and we needed a red/white/blue only item). But great quality and the sellers were very nice to work with.
