I bought this for sun tanning to get a bit of vitamin D. 30 minutes in and this blanket made it much much hotter. My other blanket is cotton and keeps me much cooler. This blanket gets very hot and holds moisture. It's very light and a small Texas breeze will blow it away. I spent most of my time trying to keep it in place. Maybe on a cool not so windy day like late November this would be useful just to sit and read a book. Two stars for convenience and size.
