Broken on my first install. I removed the old one by hand. I hand tightened the new one after it broke. I used it on a 2007 F150 5.4L.

Well made product. Easy access to hard-to-reach oil filters. Twist sideways to loosen, then flip to tighten the filter. Uses a 3/8" drive extension/ratchet. I have to have it on 2009 and up Ford vehicles.

I use this to remove the oil filter on my Cummins Dodge Ram truck. If I use a grooved filter I can just use a regular oil filter seat, but one of the high efficiency Baldwin filters I use isn't grooved and so this thing is a lifesaver because there's no room for your hands. with a regular belt wrench.
