Description of GEARWRENCH 81210P 3/8" 120XP Flex Head Teardrop Ratchet With Dual Material Handle, 13-1/2

120XP ratchets have two double stacked 60 tooth pawls (120 positions) providing a 3° swing arc so you can turn fasteners in tighter confines. Double-stacked pawls alternately engage the 60 tooth gear, providing exceptional strength. Highly visible on/off markings on the head for fast size identification. Enclosed head design for extreme resistance to dirt infiltration. Teardrop, low-profile head and flush-mounted on/off switch allow better access in tight spaces. Longer reach handle to access hard-to-reach fasteners. Bright, full polish chrome finish easily wipes clean and resists corrosion. Meets or exceeds ASME specifications

Best ratchet you will ever own.

Great ratchet. Has the lightest action of any ratchet I have ever seen. Better than anything on any of the tool trucks. In my opinion the best of the best.

Pros
  • Quality control could be a little beytervbutvthays what happens when you sell ou to China from tiwan
Cons
  • Received a poor quality wrench that was heavily used from husky not gear wrench

Very fine tooth ratchet

The ratchet has a very fine tooth on it great for small spaces. The flex head has a ball that locks the head in different positions. The handle is a very sturdy construction and feels good in your hand while using it.

Pros
  • Perfect size and length, smooth and extremely tough for what it is.
Cons
  • The head can get stuck in certain positions, making it hard to switch directions quickly

This ratchet is as good as SnapOn

This ratchet is super strong, I took lug nuts off with it! And the 120 teeth in the head make it so you barely have to move the handle and you feel the clicks. Makes an excelent ratchet if you dont have much room to move the handle in tight spaces.

Pros
  • Well worth the money
Cons
  • The ratchet can be difficult to operate with gloves on, due to the size of the handle and the placement of the switch

Best BANG for your Buck!

Very impressed. Replaced my MAC flex head cause it froze up after years of use and this GearWrench 120 exceeded all my expectations

Pros
  • Smooth ratchet
Cons
  • The flex head can feel loose or unstable if you're using it at a sharp angle

Great deal. on my review.

Had my similar snap on ratchet for years but it finally got to the point it wasn't worth waiting for the snap on guy to come around to get it fixed. Priced one out from Marco at $180 and honestly didn't like how the ratchet felt. I've been using the 1/4" gearwrench ratchet for years so figured I'd give it a shot. Got this for $40 and i couldn't be happier. Very well made ratchet and seems like it can handle some torque. Definitely recommend it.

Pros
  • Perfect
Cons
  • The head can be difficult to rotate with one hand, requiring two hands to turn it

Awesome, worth every cent

Been holding up to almost daily use for 6 months. Had 2 ratchet wrenches break in 2 weeks from the work, decided to buy quality. Haven’t had a problem since! Love the product.

Pros
  • Use it for work. Worth the money compared to snap on.
Cons
  • The ratchet can be noisy, and the sound can be irritating to some users

Do all ratchet: my feedback

Fine teeth, long handled, and flex head. Not much more to ask for when working with stubborn bolts. Fine teeth help with access despite the long handled. I bought it on sale but it's still worthwhile around msrp.

Pros
  • Make any job easy
Cons
  • The teardrop shape can make it difficult to apply enough pressure to loosen tight bolts or nuts

Awesome fine tooth ratchet! Never lets me down!

I worked on Semi's for a good while and this ratchet became a necessity! I use it on everything cars-big trucks! I bought it to get to the starter bolts on the semi's (some are super tight to get to) and theres no way to get a half inch in there. this ratchet works like a charm and had taken everything iv thrown at it with a smile! also the fine tooth is essential! 5 stars!

Pros
  • Works well. Just don’t like how loose it gets
Cons
  • The ratchet may not be as durable as some other models, despite its high price

Works Great So Far best in my review

This is a nice ratchet. The handle is a good length, the head flexes at decent increments, and it has a ton of teeth. Can't speak to durability yet, I've only used it a couple times. Fyi, the listed length is the length of the entire ratchet, not just the handle.

Pros
  • Great ratchet. Could use a bit more tension on the flex head. Flops a little more than I'd like.
Cons
  • The dual-material handle can start to separate or crack over time with frequent use
