I am writing a review on this about a year after purchase because the backlight dimmed this morning and has now died within an hour. This renders the screen completely unusable, although it still shows up as a valid HDMI device on the computer. The screen was used in my project for displaying host statistics internally on the computer and served this purpose very well. It is a pity that the screen cannot be powered only via HDMI. I was hoping that this screen only needed HDMI power to power the screen. I used it in a gaming PC case. However, this requires a micro USB cable or the screen will not work. I hope this helps someone else trying to use it for the same application.

I bought it about a year and a half ago and it worked great one day, the screen just goes black and it's just a white screen. The monitor’s viewing angle is too narrow..

Works perfectly. Never had any problems with it and uses little power. The quality of Grpahic is pretty good too. I have nothing to complain about.

I love this ad! Can be disconnected from HDMI and is perfect for my Raspberry Pi and for showing stats on my computer. After about 9 months, however, the display started to randomly dim and the colors weren't as clear. I wish it had lasted longer!

Installed this as a stats screen in my Corsair case with AIDA64. Worked great, was legible through glass etc but died completely in just over 3 months. Shame as it fits perfectly but I will try another brand.

2 stars because it took 2 orders to get a working display, not only that but the display DOES NOT WORK with HDMI only as advertised, I had to use USB as well. upset.
