I was excited when I ordered these based on size and fitment. However, when I unpacked the first box, I was very disappointed with the shelf. I would say the quality is mediocre. Biggest complaint about the finish. What is listed as aluminum and looks like a matte finish looks like silver spray paint and will not match a chrome faucet or a nickel sleeve faucet. Overall, it just looks weird and cheap.

No offense, but not of high quality, but I think it's really good for the price. The reason I say this is because of the material, but again, once everything is set up, it's not a problem. I liked the way it looked in my bathroom and I remember someone complaining about the finish of the material and yes it looks nice but then again it's not a problem for me. I definitely recommend this product, no regrets!

We measured the wall and even cut out the price of the old box to imagine how big the shelf would be while we waited for delivery. Unfortunately, in person it seems much smaller than the measurements suggest. I think it has to do with the frame that supports the shelf. The items we wanted to put on this shelf barely fit, making it sub-ideal for the purpose we required. So we sent it back and will continue to search for something that is the right size for our needs.

The shelf looks terrible in real life compared to the photos. Since we were still under construction, the shelf was only opened later. What a horrible surprise, it's painted metal - the pictures looked like it was plated or something pretty. But in person, it's like someone just sprayed it. I can't go back because it's behind the window. But I would definitely like to save a few people from making a bad purchase. Very happy with the end result. But 4 decades of do-it-yourself work has taught me how to slowly and carefully put everything together and mount it on the wall. I suggest any buyer to "measure at least twice" and also check the mounting points for your drilled holes in the wall. It can be relatively easy to get a finished job that is not level or vertical. But if you pay attention, you get a great product.

1. It's not chrome, it's textured silver color. Actually better than Chrome.2. In addition to the instructions, I found that installing a towel rail was very helpful for leveling things up. The required drill bit size for drilling holes for the wall anchors is 19/64. (They draw lines and holes and all that, but they never tell you the size of the wall anchor bits.) for running power cords to the specified devices.
