It's very buggy, suitable for computer accessories and peripherals

Make sure you can get to the batteries, it likes to stall and won't turn off. You have to pull out both batteries to reset it. It would be ideal if the firmware wasn't so buggy and the software was more sophisticated.

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Volume

The best UPS I have found!

Overall I am very happy with this product and would recommend it to anyone looking for a reliable UPS; plus it's a HAT. It has powered everything I have used to date and have not encountered any issues. :) IMPORTANT: Make sure you use the correct lithium ion batteries 1865 Flat top and (short). Cons

Really useful UPS for my RPI

I bought this for my RPI to power it during power outages and it works very well. I tested it and it lasted over 24 hours on six 18650 batteries. I've had random reboot issues recently and the support team has been very responsive and helpful! As mentioned, I wish the LEDs could be dimmed with software or switches, but I have a pack of Light Dims that work fine.

The Geekworm PI Cooling Board (X728-A1) reduced the non-overclocked PI 4 stress test temperature by 25* degrees Celsius in the region of 81* Fahrenheit! It went from an operating temperature of 75Β°C to 50Β°C. It also dropped its idle temperature from 47Β°F to 38Β°F! After completing the stress test, the temperature returned to 38C very quickly, using the cheap thermal synchronizers installed with my CanaKit. Very impressive.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Operating speed

Big! You can buy this and run non-NOOBS distros

Works great, just raspberry pi setup issues on software page for non-raspbian OS images. I had to buy another fan as GeekWorm doesn't supply a fan for the Pi 3B to match this one < see below. GeekPi Pi4/3B Fan>. Glad to see there are big red warnings on the wiki to watch LG's security video. I will make sure my 18650 batteries stay safe. Please do not recommend buying the Revain 18650 batteries that come with the charger as they are mostly unsafe and cheap. I don't want to blow up the Pi.

Pros
  • Sleek design
Cons
  • Corrupt
