Works great with electrics

Used as a connection on the outside of a van after installing an independent roof air conditioner. Worked very well for a camping socket installation in combination with a 20 amp fuse box.

Pros
  • Good price
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for the elderly

A clean way to add an outlet to your car

I added this socket to my Sprinter in place of a trailer plug and it's amazing. Since I've only had it for a week, its shelf life is still unknown.

Pros
  • Got it!
Cons
  • Something else

Great addition to my van

Using this as a 120 volt addition to my van. Worked great. Now, in addition to my 30 amp service for my van, I have an additional 15 amp service for the new outlet I installed.

Pros
  • Ideal for a small home
Cons
  • So far so good

Power for the Military Barn

Added an exit to my son's Recon Barn. The shed was plugged in but had no power source so we used it outside the shed to power it. Has a seal on the back and good quality for what we needed.

Pros
  • Cool Product
Cons
  • Upgrade Availability

Does the job, well built

I installed mine in a real faceplate outlet. Couldn't find a matching front panel for a group so I made my own by drilling holes in the blank panel. This keeps the whole unit attached to the front panel but strong enough for occasional use.

Pros
  • practical item
Cons
  • unreliable

You need a @ " hole saw, not a 1 3/4 " hole saw

Website says you need a 1 3/4" hole In fact you need a 2" -Hole. I ordered a 1 3/4" hole saw and drilled a hole in my golf cart. When the container arrived, a 2" hole was required. Fortunately, I had the skills (and access to the necessary tools) to make a large one Enlarging hole in fiberglass probably the average person doesn't have the skills or equipment to do it.To be advised. The product is of very good quality apart from poor installation information.
