I bought these based on a previous reviewer who said they were good for making cheese straws. This was not the case. The star is too big to make something like a churro any better, it was too thick for the cheese straws and made them crumbly and crumbly. However, the return was easy and without problems.

What can I say? . feels sturdy and will hardly bend when squeezing dough. The packaging of this size 5 GEFU cookie cutter says it is a German product (not necessarily Made in Germany) and fits perfectly on the chopper attachment of an older Kitchenaid stand mixer.

We love making cheese straws, but using a hand-held cookie press is giving us tennis elbow! We were looking for a solution that included 3D printing a disc for our Kitchen Aid. Well that didn't work so we planned on ordering a punch disc. When we saw that GEFU was supposed to work with the Kitchen Aid grinder, we decided to give it a try. We're very happy to report that not only does it fit, but the metal is strong enough to withstand thick, cheesy straw dough!
