🔐 GE Dishwasher Door Bottom Seal (White) - Genuine OEM GE WD08X10059 Review

It was an easy install. Good quality item. The reason I gave 3 stars for value for money is because it's an overpriced piece of plastic despite being the cheapest I've found.

This was just the part we needed. No instructions. Not easy to install but once in it completely solved the problem. It looked expensive for what it was but contacting service saved it. Good deal for the value.

Our 13 year old GE dishwasher had a leak on the bottom left of the door. Upon inspection, the lower door seal began to collapse. I ordered the part from Amazon. It was expensive (around $55) but the cheapest I could find. The pros at Appliance Parts have a great video showing you how to replace the gasket on the same dishwasher yourself. Just enter the part number WD08X10059 on a video site like YouTube. It took about 15 minutes to fix, and I'm not very handy.

Part fits perfectly, no installation issues - 5 stars for a part that should be exactly what it should be, and it is. The estimate is simply based on the cost of the molded piece of plastic. There are very similar GE seals that cost 1/3 the price, albeit overpriced, but at least close to what they should be worth. It's a shame when you can buy electronics cheaper. Oh well. 5 stars for the part 1 star for the price (but isn't cheap anywhere)

Easy installation, no repair required. Just a youtube video and about 8 screws on a dishwasher model that we had to replace to get everything working again. I have a GE Quiet Power 3 (model number GLD4400N10WW) which must be 10 years old.
