I like these pens

I like these pens. I've used standard pencils from 6H to 6B, but all you can get with them is different shades of gray. You can get something close to black with charcoal pencils.

The best charcoal pencil I've tried.

I've literally spent money trying out all the premium (highly rated) charcoal pencils from various art catalogues. The funny thing is that these cheap charcoal pencils from General are hands down the best of them all. I recommend that you get them and don't spend money like you did.

I have used many types of charcoal and all my friends who are professional portrait painters recommend this brand of pencils. You are simply the best. I have included some of my work in "customer product images". I am happy to answer questions or give tips, tricks, tips or methods.

The soft pencils were broken and unusable, but you don't realize that until you sharpen them.

Soft pencils arrived broken and unusable. When I try to sharpen it, the charcoal just falls out of the pencil. One of them is broken and I used it for maybe a minute. I tried the included sharpener, knife, and even the sandpaper, and three of them just fell apart. I suspect they were damaged in shipping. I have to return them.
