Significant time saver, long lasting, gives instant template

I wish I had 1200 square feet back! I'll stick the vinyl under the tree. The corners in my house are rounded and some boards are very heavy. Cutting the board to millimeters took me 45-60+ minutes just looking at it. With this sensor it is a maximum of 20 minutes. I wouldn't take the sculptures that are also sold, they don't hold their shape well. This metal is solid and will hold the shape you press it into. Once you loosen the pins, it's great!

When taken out of the box it is quite rigid in action - so much so that the metal pins can bend or scratch the object when trying to profile something. Lubricating didn't help. Two knobbed, brass-colored caps that hold the entire knot together provide tension. By CAREFULLY inserting a screwdriver blade under each end cap, on either side, on either end, and lifting a little, you can adjust the tension to make the pins slide more easily. Be careful not to rip off the end caps, I guess you'll end…

I had trouble with this review

The tool looks pretty well put together, not cheap pins and a ridiculously thin plastic body. My problem and the reason for the three stars is that the whole purpose of this tool is to be able to easily copy the shape from one medium to another, but the pins on this tool are so MANDATORY that you have to use a lot of force, to get them to move into shape. For example, if you're copying sheet metal body panels or using them to match concrete sanding patterns, that's probably fine. But if you're…
