Put a glass of wine in the same room!

I don't know if it only works with formaldehyde or aldehydes, ketones or volatile carboxylic acids. Without knowing its specifics, it's almost useless, right? Place a glass of wine in the same room and the meter will go up.

Pros
  • Indoor Air Quality Meter
Cons
  • So far so good

Inaccurate

The readings were inaccurate. I've taken it to several places and it's always read a lot. It only showed zero when I went outside. Calibrated multiple times. High scores dropped significantly when the backlight was on. It didn't give me a good feel for the accuracy of the instrument.

Pros
  • Industrial and Scientific
Cons
  • Write Later

Worth the money

I got one from AWD so mine was used. Nothing registered at first, it stayed at 0.0 even after several on/off cycles. 0.03 is the street average, so I knew it wasn't working properly. I started playing around with buttons and this one and eventually it started working fine. I turned off the power several times and it kept working. I used it to inspect a home with laminate floors as we couldn't find anyone in our area to do this for us. I was confident in the accuracy as this is a professionalโ€ฆ

Pros
  • Test measure and verify
Cons
  • Doubt
