Great Signal Strength in Handheld CB Radio

This handheld CB radio comes with a powerful antenna that provides excellent signal strength, even in remote areas. The design is easy to handle and convenient for outdoor activities, while the audio quality is clear and crisp. The only downside is that the battery life could be longer, especially for extended use. Overall, this is a great choice for anyone looking for reliable electronics in the CB and two-way radio category.

Pros
  • Lightweight and portable
Cons
  • May experience limited signal strength in certain areas

I can't do anything without an SWR meter.

Without an SWR meter, I can't objectively judge how well this antenna works. But I can say that it allows me to hit the repeater at a distance of 5 miles. The antenna coating is glossy - lighter than the original IC-V8 from what I remember. But I do not care. If you're looking for something cheap to use your HT with again, this will help.

Pros
  • Contains 1 pc. VHF antenna
Cons
  • Mostly OK, but...
