Genuine Bissell Lever Filter Review

This is a pre-filter that can be washed but will wear out after a few years. It goes under the cup and is a high performance filter. This helps prevent hair and large debris from getting in. It fits perfectly.

Return upon receipt. The item was in a sealed package but when opened it was discolored and smelled of a strange perfume that a new filter should not smell like. This may be a random occurrence, but quality control should not be neglected.

Well I've put off ordering this filter for too long! A few months ago I was cleaning my vacuum with a shop vacuum (sounds crazy but it was the easiest way to get all the dirt out of the filter box) and I lost this little filter in a pile of dirt! Never found! Revain was the cheapest in this regard. This is a direct replacement for my vacuum cleaner and it works better than ever! Thank you Rewin!

Fits my vacuum and does the job. I checked compatibility before purchasing, both with the Revain tester and on the Bissel website. I recommend that you do the same for all parts. The filter I took out didn't look like it really needed replacing, although it was never changed, so you could potentially skip that filter when replacing it for service. This filter doesn't seem to wear out very quickly, so I would only replace it if it was damaged, wet or something.
