This assembly has been modified from the original to prevent breakage of the small top tube. The lines have brass internals for reinforcement, just like the originals, but longer internal tubes for more support. The appearance of the engine compartment has also changed.

It was perfect for my 2-door convertible. Having served in submarines it was similar to some of the repairs I had done before. You should have 6 knuckles on your wrist and a vise on each finger. but it worked. If you are not a mechanic, do not attempt this alone.

Perfect for my 02 2.7L Stratus. It was a little tricky getting the bottom hose off the old tank (had to move the power steering reservoir aside and unscrew the AC line bracket) but that's fine, someone with an outlet has a couple of channel locks, a vise and a bit of patience can't deal with it.

I've been trying to replace this type for a long time. I couldn't decide whether to go to the dump or try another patch. The problem with a landfill replacement would be that I would have the old plastic again. I should have replaced that a long time ago. I've had too many overheating issues. I really liked the quality and the cover. Installation was pretty easy, I had to fiddle around with the air conditioning lines a bit to get enough room, but everything went fine after that.
