One and only: putties, adhesives and sealants

This is the only sealant that can be used when replacing an oil pan. Allow to cure overnight with no leaks. It's worth it, do it once and forget about leaks

Pros
  • Looking forward to
Cons
  • Not sure

Expiration date has been removed on purpose

Purchased to replace the top oil pan gasket on my truck and when I received the package the expiry date was removed on purpose. Now I have to hope that it is still good and seals properly

Best Available Best Car Care

Always use this material as it has excellent adhesive properties which many do not have. I don't have to worry about anything leaking or not sticking if everything is prepared properly. Be sure to clean the surface with alcohol or something similar for a strong seal.

Pros
  • Alright!
Cons
  • Mostly good but...

Very good sealant. I managed to reach Enge.

Very good sealing. This product has allowed me to get a tight seal on the back of the oil pan on a traditional Pontiac V8. If you know anything about Pontiacs, you understand how important this was.

Cons
  • Not bad, but...

Need a gun to pop the RTV. The spatula gun didn't work.

Used to replace the rocker cover gasket on a 2010 GMC Acadia. Little did I know that I also needed a special gun to squeeze it out as my caulking gun didn't work with it. At the end I spontaneously pulled out the RTV and smeared it with a latex glove.

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Senior Citizen
